Re: 2 people play in the same house.

Never knew so many wifes and girlfriends play Tibiantis! Cool!

However ofcourse you can, but as Kay said it's not enough to only yell at your family member to come sit down at the other pc whenever you think a gamemaster is there.

It'll most likely happen without your knowing

My wife wants to play on Tibiantis but i told her she cant because we are in the same house and we might get deleted for multiclienting. Is it possible in somehow to play together in tibiantis or should i move on to another OT? I really like this server and rather not quit.

Maybe you can give us some straight answer instead of a copy paste answers u got or guide me to the faqs.

I wish I could give you a better answer, but I honestly don't know how we can put it more straight than this:

Q: I play with my brother on the same Internet connection. Can we get banned?

No, you will not get banned for the fact of sharing the same Internet connection. A shared IP address does not imply the use of a multi-client, nor does using different IP addresses imply no use of a multi-client. As long as each of you plays only one character you don't break the rules. Keep in mind that you should abide by this rule at all times when the characters are online, not only at the moment of a Gamemaster's visit.

It literally answers your question straight. Also, I honestly have no idea why you even assume that we may be banning players for the fact of living in the same house. It sounds utterly absurd at so many layers.

Re: 2 people play in the same house.

My GF lvl'd 1 char to lvl 20 and quit. Same time as I was playing... Still standing!

Might as well add that we usually play together at friends place 2 of us at the same time, hunting, drinking etc... None of us have been banned yet.

Im not assuming, our friends got deleted for "multiclienting" and i know for a fact becasue we are two couples playing games together and they lived in the same house and NEVER logged in on each others characters. Still got deleted. How can we be sure to not get deleted? Or how can you be sure that these people used "multiclienting". You guys are the ones who assumes, because i know for a fact that they played fair.

Rule is really simple for those who have >30 iq. U can play with your family as long as everyone uses just one character.

You telling me we can do that but after few days we got banned thanks for your help. So i read rules, 3 c,d and f and i still dont know why we got banned, we didint break any of rules, u are just too lazy or unqualified to check us, you saw same IP or same device we played and you, or someone else just banned us, thats not fair.

Exactly this. You CAN play with your family, relatives, friends and neighbours as much as you want. It is NOT forbidden to play together in one house. We don't even have a way to know that you play in one house. A shared IP address does not necessairly imply that, nor does different IP address imply the otherwise. You can play together in one house, you can share the same Internet connection and you can even have a "LAN party" with 10 pals of yours. BUT each of you must play only their (one) character, just as every other player.

The problem here is that, apparently, for some people a wife, girlfriend or brother is merely a cover for multi-clienting. They think that they can safely play two characters at once (alone, by one person), because in case a gamemaster appears to test them, they can yell at their wife to come sit down at one PC and control one of the characters for a moment. So, they are in fact multi-clienting two characters by themselves, not actually playing with their wife. The wife is only needed for them to legitimize their characters in case of a gamemaster's visit. If this is your intention, you can expect to be banned, becase you will probably never see a gamemaster come to test you, as we have more effective and reliable methods to tell whether you are multi-clienting two characters, or it is truly two players.

But if you only intend to play together (two people), then you are safe and guaranteed not to get banned for that.

I really have no idea, if we can put it more straight anyhow.

I think you lying about that you have any "effective and reliable methods to tell whether you are multi-clienting" if u have that not working properly because you still banning fair play players that is just excuse of your mistakes
