17 Apr 2024 - Rule 3 has been updated with a new entry: "Players who are complicit in cheating by aiding, abetting and/or consciously profiting from illegal actions of other players, may also be punished with 7-day banishment, 14-day banishment, 30-day banishment with or without a final warning, or permanent banishment, depending on the seriousness of the violation and the Player's criminal record." - This doesn't really change the way we enforce the rules, because such cases used to be punished as "destructive behavior". We decided, however, that it deserves to be stated explicitly in the Rules.
We also updated Rule 6.: starting from Apr 25, the automatic auction bans will be twice as long.

The name change takes in-game effect after the next server save. Until then it appears on the website as the "new name". After the server save, it becomes the current one, while the old one will appear as the "former name". The character can be found by both names. The former name will be untied from the character after 6 months and freed to use after another 6 months (1 year in total).

The main reason for people wanting to change name of their characters so that it doesn't appear in scanners. But if people can see the former name it defeats the purpose.

I think everyone knows the reason why so many ppl wanted name change implemented - the reason is just a bit of a nono to speak about on discord / the forums.
My feedback on website: 1. I like the colours, it's better then old ones. 2. You can't change thread name on forum section or I don't know how to do it on new website. 3. Avatars of guilds, character on forum are on + 4. Tables in online list is sorted by names, you can sort by vocation and levels too. Can website remember my choice? I liked the most sort by levels, and now I change it everytime. 5. Namechange is too cheap, it should be 900(or 9000) premium days for mastercards if they want to destroy great story of some characters just because they have money. At least it will benefit for whole server after they pay 30 premiums. I hope old name will be seen forever on website. How many times you can change name btw? 6. Why when I enter the forum, there is no other bars in left side of website? 7. uploading img is easy, but still not very functional in my opinion:P
Good work with the site, glad it's streamlined things a lot better for you! I think the compromise with name changes is decent, I was concerned that old names would not link back and 6-12 months is enough time to allow any community members to work out what's happened.
