17 Apr 2024 - Rule 3 has been updated with a new entry: "Players who are complicit in cheating by aiding, abetting and/or consciously profiting from illegal actions of other players, may also be punished with 7-day banishment, 14-day banishment, 30-day banishment with or without a final warning, or permanent banishment, depending on the seriousness of the violation and the Player's criminal record." - This doesn't really change the way we enforce the rules, because such cases used to be punished as "destructive behavior". We decided, however, that it deserves to be stated explicitly in the Rules.
We also updated Rule 6.: starting from Apr 25, the automatic auction bans will be twice as long.

"... The success of my last expeditions through Rookgaard made me think that this lovely island was getting too small for me. I had the best equipment, plenty of gold and, honestly, there didn't seem to be that many more challenges left to conquer. In my mind, exploring the dungeons of the premium area would be like a walk in the park, well, I couldn't be more wrong... In addition to facing a terrible troll overspawn, I found out the hardest way how sharp goblins' stones can be... With great difficulty I managed to retrieve my loot, but due to the troll madness above me I lacked the courage to go back to the surface that day, once again, there I was, trapped in a dark and filthy cave, waiting for the sun to light my way out... "

Goodbye, Rookgaard!
"...After lots of ups and downs, my Rookgaard journey was finally coming to an end. I have to say, after all, this whole Rookgaard experience was far better than I could've expected, with a backpack (almost) full of gold coins and some valuable items on my inventory, I was ready to set the sails to the mainland, but not before taking a last glance at the island greatest icon, the Sword Of Fury... Goodbye Rookgaard, my adventures here will surely never be forgotten..."
