Re: Permissibility of programming a specific macro

Hello!

Is it permissible to record ones account number & password onto a macro key so that one may login with the press of a single keyboard key in the client?

I always did this while playing Tibia and would like to do so here as well.

Thank you.

It would be best if one could simply press a button and login because the client has saved the credentials.

Yeah, but that would only save the account number (if they were to implement this at all) but not the password, which I do not see them doing.

Why not save both?

No, it's not about what one 'could' do instead so I don't want to get into that.

I'd just like to know whether or not I'm allowed to do this.

Do admins answer players questions here?

The rules state, "All in-game actions must be performed manually by the Player." Entering the account number and password is not part of the gameplay; therefore, using a macro to enter the password does not violate the rules. However, I would advise against this solution because if you accidentally activate the macro while the character is logged in, it could result in a permanent ban on the account.
