I have a question related to using external software.
Can we use a software which read the process memory? It won't modify nothing, it only will read to get some information and do calculations ( exp per hour, skills, ...).
"Reading" is not strictly manipulating, according to rule d). I consider this action as using a scanner
But due to reading memory you can get advantages like battlelist alarms, getting sqms containing fishes etc. I'm sorry but reading is just illegal per se
I believe that you (Kay/Lord or whoever they may be) have several friends playing on the server, and you've leaked the names of some hidden characters on accounts. So, you defend the use of an account scanner to prevent the secret from being revealed.
I keep I said before, reading is not manipulating as same way reading "who is online" page is not manipulate.
Reading private process memory isn't equal to reading public website
Besides, your accusations that we've leaked off someone's hidden characters are incorrect, which was explained in thread about scanners. Website is same for everyone over web, process virtual memory is individual per every machine, containing some private info about machine in memory and stack too
As I see this issue, in my book reading memory is not forbidden, with your own rules in my hand. So I will build that software. When I see reading is prohibited then I will stop doing that.
