Changelog
26 Oct 2024 - Thanks to a few tweaks to the back-end infrastructure, the server save will now last 10 minutes at most, rather than way over 20 as it did before.

Several fixes have been applied: - Kicking members from the guild and assigning titles were fixed - Highscores are sorted and updated correctly - Moving out of the house now works as intended - E-mail changes are executed on time - Characters list is now in alphabetical order - other minor fixes
Guildhall transfers are now available. Make sure that the new owner meets the requirements at the server save, otherwise the guildhall will be lost. Several minor fixes were also applied on the forum.
A few bugs in the forum software have been fixed: the bug that caused the posts to be longer than they really were, the one that allowed to post in a closed topic, the one that occurred when generating anchor links to some posts. Also, pinned subjects aren't missing pagination any more. Furthermore, it's not possible any more to pass guild leadership when the guildhouse is being sold. Note that disbanding a guild and then founding a new one causes you to lose the guildhouse.
Added Criminal Record in My Account - you can view the history and details of all your bans, notations, namelocks, etc. Fixed descriptions in subpages in sections Community and Library (e.g. grammatical errors). Fixed a minor bug with the order of display of the forum topics. Closed topics are now distinguished by the icon of a padlock. Character list is now ordered alphabetically.
A few minor bugs fixed in the client: cams save properly now upon exit; server messages at the beginning of a cam are now omitted and do not prevent the playback - works with old cams as well. Moreover, the CPU of the CamPlayer has been optimised. In case of any issues with the auto-updater, please download the new version of the client directly from our website.
Furthermore, a few minor improvements were also implemented in the forum: new icons, consistent marking of read and new/unread posts/topics (requires login); saving the content during post writing/editing in case the user is unexpectedly logged out or the browser tab is closed (content saved via auto-save to the browser's local storage); a preview of the text is now available when writing/editing a post.
Due to an unexpected shutdown of one of our hosting machines, which happened today around 10 a.m. CET, we had to roll back to the latest game save, which had been at 9 a.m. CET (ca. 1 hour before the shutdown). This means that all the changes you made during that period - i.e. between 9 and 10 a.m. - have been reverted. The cause of this issue was completely beyond our control. Nevertheless, we apologise for all the inconvenience.
One of our hosting machines unexpectedly shut down today around 12 p.m. CET. The issue was taken care of, but we had to revert all the changes you made in the game after the last save and prior to the incident - i.e. between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience. 2 days of premium time were added to all the accounts that were having premium status today at 9 a.m. to compensate for this technical downtime.
Due to a technical issue that occurred today around 5 p.m. CET, we were forced to revert the game to the last save (8 hours back). Apparently, sometimes lightning does strike twice. For nearly 3 years we had managed to avoid any major technical problems that would result in a so-called "rollback", only for it to happen three times in just about a month. Believe it or not, each time it was a different cause, and the first two were completely beyond us, which makes it even more frustrating, for us too.
We fully understand all expressions of disappointment with this situation, and yet again we sincerely apologize. Please remember that nobody is perfect, and no game or company is able to avoid issues at all times. We believe that for all these years Tibiantis has proven its stability, and we would hate it for such unfortunate incidents to bury this impression. Also, please keep in mind that reverting the game to the last save, despite all the frustrations it comes with, is necessary to guarantee the integrity of all the data, which is the top priority in such situations.
Please accept our apologies for all the inconvenience you've experienced in the wake of the recent issues. We are thankful for all your understanding. Since the setback was 8 hours (instead of only 2, like before), we would like to appease your discomfort with the compensations of extra 3 days of premium to all premium accounts as well as to all free accounts that logged in to the game between the last save and the incident.
