Changelog
17 Apr 2024 - Rule 3 has been updated with a new entry: "Players who are complicit in cheating by aiding, abetting and/or consciously profiting from illegal actions of other players, may also be punished with 7-day banishment, 14-day banishment, 30-day banishment with or without a final warning, or permanent banishment, depending on the seriousness of the violation and the Player's criminal record." - This doesn't really change the way we enforce the rules, because such cases used to be punished as "destructive behavior". We decided, however, that it deserves to be stated explicitly in the Rules.

We also updated Rule 6.: starting from Apr 25, the automatic auction bans will be twice as long. Check full changelog...

Re: Unjustly criminal record and loss of the house

I won the house auction. At 11:00 PM, I log in to put money into the deposit for rent before the next Server Save. It turns out that at 12:59:59 PM I received a warning for spoiling action and lost that house, which I had been preparing for for 2 weeks, because someone overbid with an unrealistic amount in the previous auction. I understand now that it is related to the technical break, and the Server Save was at 1:00 PM. However, this information was not explicitly stated that it was associated with an earlier fee collection. I won this auction and it is obvious that this house belongs to me. Please assign it to me and collect the money.

I am sorry, but the maintenance was announced a week in advance, both on the website and in the client via the 'message of the day'. You should have taken that into account and kept enough gold in your depot.

Re: Unjustly criminal record and loss of the house

Certainly, I do not deny that the maintenance was announced earlier. However, the server save was not. It is clearly stated in our official FAQ when the server save occurs, without any reservations about exceptions.

Maintenance does not necessarily mean a server save, as there is no indication of this. The fact that players cannot log in does not have to mean that everything is shut down and a server save is happening. Moreover, neither in the regulations nor in the FAQ is there a definition of maintenance, nor is there information that rent for the house is being charged at that time. I sincerely believe in the fairness of the administration, that this house should belong to me according to the provisions in the rules and FAQ. Even though the administration should not approach players emotionally in any way, this server exists precisely for the players. I kindly suggest a solution that would be fair in this situation: to assign this house to me, because I legally won the auctions, and to add information to the FAQ specifying what maintenance is and what it entails. This does not concern only me but all players, because we have two possible situations. Either a player actually uses up two days of house ownership within one day, which is not informed about (he could have gone on a 3-week holiday calculating that he will manage to return and pay for the house), or the second possible situation is that the rent for the house is not actually collected with every server save and it only concerns new houses, not the ones already owned. I am not 100% sure which situation is true, but from what I see from various photos with the house purchase date and the current date until when the rent is paid, it seems to me that the first option is true.
The picture I uploaded was taken with a phone, not without reason. I am also on vacation, I knew about the maintenance, and I carefully planned the whole operation and the possibility of logging in in the evening. I couldn't have known that a situation that is not explained anywhere would occur, and it is a quite exceptional situation, occurring extremely rarely.

Regardless of the final decision, thank you for the time devoted to me.
