Along with these changes, several minor map fixes have been applied (e.g. a missing stalagmite in the dragon lair was re-added, it is now not possible to levitate in that spot). I have been to Arunthang and Ank but not a huge amount. It was annoying as lower level mage to travel there since my supplies didn’t last long but otheriwse seemed okay.

I am generally opposed to custom content and joined this server because it looked as close as possible to original 7.4. Custom content is currently there but seems far away (especially since not many custom items which appear in homes) - I can go to it when bored of original content and its not a necessity since xp/ loot there isn’t much different.

Although people hunt these custom places, their home is in original content cities. This is better for when new players join who just want the old Tibia they knew and a busy community/ depot shows a healthy server.

I feel more houses/ mailbox/ better stores might be fine after some quest.

I wouldn't mind if the colony grew, even just a little bit, It just makes sense lore-wise and the rpgers are starving for...f sake- anything. I did enjoy the idea of extending mail box access there by more mission/s to Postman Q.


I've given my critique on Underworm & Magma beasts but in short

+The only real opportunity to hunt with many demon skeletons (Like PoI or Hydras used to be)Would love one more option in this regard.

When it comes to Magma Beasts adding hammer of wrath to the NPC would be a nice addition. The exp is moderate but the chance at getting some nice profit is always fun. Could add more fire type mobs to aruthang like more dragon spawns or custom mobs that are good for mid-high level. There is a lack of mobs you can teamhunt with HMMs in general (blockers with low/mid lvls), so having more places like this would be great. I want hydras but we all know that wont happen :( OPEN PORT HOPE BUT MAKE IT CUSTOM LIKE ANK :>!

Im not sure how i feel about a depot, i feel more against it and would rather have a handful more houses available for this instead. I like the exclusivity of it so i dont want a lot of housing added, but i also want it to expand. Having a variety of hunting spots / areas to explore is great. Adding some postman boxes would be a good addition as well, would make me want to do the quest personally. I like the idea of expanding the guard / troglodyte spawns more. The troglodyte/alphadyte well is nice, but it is difficult to get supplies into because of the well so your hunt time is limited to your supplies you can carry. Having some new spawns of alpha / troglos with more mobs for 80+ with a way to get supplies in.

Thats all i can think of for now

At this stage of the game, this won't work when the Hammer of Wrath and Guardian Halberd are unsellable to NPCs, they aren't such useful items that they'll find new owners. There aren't many new players at the moment. Those who were supposed to buy these weapons have already done so. Considering this, hunting these monsters is a bit pointless.

I would also consider removing the underworms resistance to HMM's, which would give magical professions access to team hunts for these monsters. Currently, this is a place for knights and paladins only. I don't think anyone will hunt underworms with sd/explo considering that the loot is very poor and impossible to sell (guardian halberd).

Well, you have a point. While updates contribute to players staying in the game, it's the nostalgia and love for the original content that make them join it in the first place. That's also why we refrain from making changes to the original map (with Ankrahmun being the necessary exception), so that people who aren't interested in custom content are not pushed into it. They might as well (nearly) ignore its existance and enjoy the original map as it is. We always considered this the golden mean, and you're right that if we turned Aruthang into city (with depo and citizenship portal) it would probably be a step away from that.

It also seems that opinions on this are divided, some players state that they would like to have a depo, some are against it, but the most are rather unsure. For these reasons, I'm also leaning towards leaving it as it is (without depo and citizenship). And instead, possibly adding a new protection zone, plus several new houses (not sure about a GH though), and also putting additional mailboxes (yet to be decided on what terms).

This was the original intention, that the underworms were more suitable for knights/paladins, and magma beasts for mages (both were also intended for team rather than solo hunts). One has a weak def and armor, but is immune to hmm, and the other is quite the opposite. But this was three years ago.

Not sure if you know this, but there's a way to throw a bag over some collapsed stones in one place, so that you can bring your stuff in and out (including lootbag). It's a bit more tedious though.

Oh it's basically nit-picking, nothing I'm asking you to change, they're fine overall.

Fang is what is most important I feel (I know this is about Aruthang but ye) :-)

Please do not add new guild houses, there are already plenty of them on the mainland and it does not have any other purpose than bedmaking, but new houses would be good, maybe a little less for the rent would be better.

And I agree with others to make underoworms worth hunting, making it more profitable or easier to gain exp.

Is the current quest going to be affected by update?

Houses are great idea. I'm having mixed feelings about linguistic rework, as ankrahmun dialogues haven't been exactly fun, more a burden when it comes to finding keywords, but given everything i guess it really relates to original feel of the game.

Exclusivity of the island should be kept with leaving the travel price. Getting off the island is basically 'free'. There's no reason it should be cheaper to access just based off the fact there's new content on it. Especially with the temple around.

Not sure about taxes part, is it about prices at the stores? They're barely noticeable, except maybe for lack of the life ring, which is super useful for the area. Also i'd imagine the dwarf settlement as more
prosperous, although update simulates passing of time, and humans are known to spread like rabbits.

Can't wait for the changes.

with current hp pool magmas should give better exp 300-500? more


i think underworms are fine, maybe add 1 more room with 2-3 monsters into existing cave and maybe increase drop rate a lil bit for shit loot
