06 Jan 2025 - Today Santa returned to his home on Vega. Christmas trees are also gone and cannot be bought from NPCs anymore. Along with these changes, several minor map fixes have been applied (e.g. a missing stalagmite in the dragon lair was re-added, it is now not possible to levitate in that spot).

Re: Introduction of new addons for premium account players
I would like to propose the introduction of new addons for premium account players, as well as graphical improvements.
These addons would be exclusive to premium account holders.
⭐With Update/7.0, four male outfits and four female outfits were introduced. ⭐With Update/7.2, three male and three female premium outfits were added. The names are assumptions (based on the names of current outfits) because at that time it wasn't possible to see the outfit name when choosing it. ⭐With Update/7.8, all these outfits received addons.
What I am proposing is the introduction of new addons for premium account players, as well as graphical improvements. Some of these addons could be purchased, but most could or should be obtained as part of a quest. Each outfit would have two different addons available. Remember that addons do not affect your character's abilities and are purely decorative. The main benefit of outfit addons is the ability to show off to other players. <3
If done right, I agree. (not Cipsoft addons) However if possible an option to not view addons is worth doing for the purists.
I would be on board if they were Cipsoft addons! I support this idea because it would save a lot of work when bringing the addons to Tibiantis. If they’re creating addons from scratch, they’ll need some extra help with ideas (I’m here, hi hi).
Regarding the idea of not seeing addons if you’re a purist, I’m not sure if that would make sense. If addons were to be implemented, it would be in a major update for Tibiantis. Additionally, it couldn’t go unnoticed, as it would boost the game’s economy (with addon items being obtained and traded).
Re: Introduction of new addons for premium account players
I doubt that's realistic to ask for though (Cipsoft addons that were attributed to an updated (worse) looking original outfits. There's a few options if you don't want to hire some pixel artist, just hold a contest with cool awards if one or more contributions meet the requirements to the 7.4 feel, minimalistic but still a penis-lenghtener

That's a good idea. A contest so we can create new outfits. But then we would step out of the nostalgic spectrum that Tibiantis brings us and move into a new aspect of original creation. Even though it doesn't really bring back anything, it could still be a good idea to hold a contest.
But would we be creating addons on top of the existing outfits, or creating entirely new outfits with new addons?

Re: Introduction of new addons for premium account players
The problem is that while many players like the new outfits, many others connect them to the newer versions and would hate to see them because of that (because they are considered not oldschool). Outfits and addons have always seemed to stir up a lot of controversy and I can't really see how to reconcile these two parties. And because Tibiantis is oldschool by definition, in such cases we always favor that side.

Re: Introduction of new addons for premium account players
Then maybe something in between,
adding custom outfits is sure to anger some players,
But adding newer outfits(same as those that can be used now, but modern version of them with possibility to make addons) and leave it up to the player's choice whether to use them or prefer to stay with the old ones? (can be achieved with options check, Where players can decide whether they prefer to see retro outfits or modern ones) it won't disturb the harmony at all peppe happy
Let's not forget that the addition of outfits will also enable players to perform new quests and do other activities in the game than just farming.

Oh please don't - such addons don’t give the feeling of nostalgia at all. whats more, they remind me of a seasonal ots though, as someone mentioned earlier.

Even if they want to stay with retro outfits
Good point, outfits or addons could be obtainable without farming items, that way it won't interfere with economy. Imagine a desert digga like me in an oriental outfit. Great reward for questing.
If this idea goes through it can't break immersion though, obviously not every outfit fits old tibia client.
