26 Oct 2024 - Thanks to a few tweaks to the back-end infrastructure, the server save will now last 10 minutes at most, rather than way over 20 as it did before.

As people said, we are not teenagers anymore. There will be a lot of people interested in the npvp server. The idea of pvp at weekends is very intresting also.
As the administration, we have to answer questions about new servers literally every day on many platforms. The response to this question is still unchanged, and I'll allow myself to quote a fragment from the development plan:
No other world will be launched until we can be certain that we have the capacity to manage all of them, while still providing the same high-quality service, and that the community is able to maintain a certain level of activity to all worlds. Until then, we're refraining from making any detailed plans. That is why you should not expect new worlds any time soon. However, if we were to think ahead, we'd be considering only such worlds that differ from the existing one, so that they contribute to growing the community, instead of competing. The differences that we have in mind might include the PvP system (PvP, Non-PvP, PvP-Enforced) or the location. So we're dismissing for example another PvP server for Europe. Moreover, due to balance issues, we're also excluding worlds with rates other than x1, so we're not considering for instance a x2 server. The only acceptable exception might be - we're not saying that it will - a seasonal high-rate world, that could be launched for promotion purposes as sort of teaser of the existing long-term (x1) world. Do not, however, expect permanent long-term worlds other than x1.
Most of the questions that we get about new worlds are about a server located in America, and a Non-PvP server. As for the latter, setting and enforcing a proper policy regarding blocking out other characters might pose some difficulty. Both types of servers are possible. However, as stated before, we do not have any specific plans yet.
Some players seem to think that just starting a new server is enough. Well, it's not - so if you want the standard of the new server to be as high as the current one, it needs to be properly prepared and then managed.
As a player, my observations are as follows: the number of PKs is too high, in the old days people couldn't play as well as they do now, so it was easier to enjoy the game. Dear administration, please create a new server or make some changes so that you can play more calmly on the current server and get more pleasure from it.

Re: Why not set up a non-pvp server?
It's even not about the non pvp server, it's about this server is spoiled. It's running for a long time so there are many pk chars, many players with million bank accounts who make pk chars for fun, 0 good houses available, high levels abusing and the other stuff that comes with this.
I understand you still earn money in this server and it's going pretty good so it's safer to stay as it is, also don't invest too much into the new server and I completely agree. But you're one of the really few people who ran successful, classic server without cheats, so I guess that's why many players (including me) are waiting for a new one.
I understand many players leave this server and it seems like there would be too few players on separate servers, but the cause is as I've written above, I'd play it if it wasn't spoiled already, there's no fun with so many random high level PKs with nothing to lose as they are mostly also retired, just logging to kill some random people and log out. There are too many high level players occupying spots 24/7 so you can't find decent spot or even if you find they will power abuse you out with some second char. I'd really like a server like this to enjoy the game, not looking my back all the time, and ending up hunted after I reach certain level.
I disagree exclusively pvp servers were such an important characteristic of Tibia 7.4. As far as I remember the game already had different kinds of servers back then. Even if it didn't, Tibiantis never showed they'd shy away from retrofitting stuff from newer versions or bringing innovations and changing inherent characteristics of CipSoft's version 7.4.
Anyway, it seems clear to me there is enough demand from current and potential players for new servers in other parts of the world or with other pvp types, but I have the feeling the staff isn't sure they'd be able to provide the quality they do provide currently, it could be too big of a step at the moment. I support whatever decision they take in regards to this subject.
If u cry about pk and high lv's abused and want new non-pvp server u are s...........
Non pvp 7.4 === 1 character 8 lv -- can block half of respawns/runemakers and ye u tell but gm can ban him but he must be online 24/7 and check all the time reports..... Waste time and no profitando for owners i think.
Second thing a 4 friends make 1 ek and 3 mages hmm this mages dont hit ek........
After year u have on this no -pvp 10 people top who abuse whole server/ heal monster and dont let u play like here u have now in your opinion.
Non-pvp servers were already quite popular at 7.4, I don't see any issue with the version, but admins would need to do some adjustments to prevent obvious issues like trapping etc. Example: maybe they would have to make desintegrate runes that can be cast at a range on blockable objects only. Or they could create a push-swap mechanism so players can just push and swap positions and this way its impossible to trap anyone with body block. There are many possible ways of solving the obvious problems that comes with non-pvp in 7.4
