Changelog
26 Oct 2024 - Thanks to a few tweaks to the back-end infrastructure, the server save will now last 10 minutes at most, rather than way over 20 as it did before. Check full changelog...

Re: Map is too small

453 players are logged in.

There is no free spawns at all, making the spawn faster is not fixing the issue of map lacking big major city and its spawn in form of Ankh

Map is too small, if you want to keep this playerbase you need to act

FYI when the official Update 7.4 was released there were up to 1.000 Players online on a single World.

Re: Map is too small

That's what I've been talking about in few posts earlier.

The biggest problem are players. They want to play on 7.4, but they want to gain level/skills/money as they do on real tibia nowadays either. ;)

Of course, when there are so many people playing, the best and/or most popular hunting spots are almost always taken. That's not surprising. And of course the map feels populated - and that's how it should be! A very populated map is also one of the most nostalgic memories from old T***a, it's only good if we can revive that feeling in 2023 (and back then it held twice the number of our peak time on daily basis). You need to consider that you can't have both at once: a very populated map/server with the best spawns free at your wish. No matter how big the map is, there's always a number of spawns that are better than the others, which will therefore be occupied the most. As long as you only stick to them and find the other spawns unworthy, you will always have this struggle. Otherwise - there's still plenty of spawns not being used right now, if you only care to look for them. I can say that because we have a good view on the map to see what spawns are actually taken or free at any time.

As for the "lacking spawns from Ank": there are no original tombs, right, but there are custom spawns in Ankrahmun and Aruthang. Also, the respawn rate at 400 online equals that which real T***a had at 700 online. So these all together cover a big part of that "loss", while there's still significantly less players than back in the days.

Re: Map is too small

I also think that this map i little bit to small for so many people. Of course even when it will be bigger also all good spawns will be busy,  but there will be more options for exp. I think Tombs could be really good, or maybe port hope?? I understand is nostalgic but most important is climate of old Tibia, bigger map dont destory it.
So please tell me there is any chance to change that map?

They could revive the island of Calcanea and put the Giant Spider there. Also the demon on Mintwallin. Two new hunting areas without going against the nostalgia proposition of this graphical multi-user dungeon.
