17 Apr 2024 - Rule 3 has been updated with a new entry: "Players who are complicit in cheating by aiding, abetting and/or consciously profiting from illegal actions of other players, may also be punished with 7-day banishment, 14-day banishment, 30-day banishment with or without a final warning, or permanent banishment, depending on the seriousness of the violation and the Player's criminal record." - This doesn't really change the way we enforce the rules, because such cases used to be punished as "destructive behavior". We decided, however, that it deserves to be stated explicitly in the Rules.
We also updated Rule 6.: starting from Apr 25, the automatic auction bans will be twice as long.

These days the option to use x3bot largely eliminates the possibility of remaining incognito in the game world. This is a proposal to reduce or eliminate the operation of this bot. Please keep in mind, that my knowledge how does this bot works is weak, so please correct me if I'm wrong or post a comment to upgrade my proposal if You share my opinion.
3 ways which comes to my mind:
a)Last login to be treated as a sensitive data which could be locked by the account owner in the view of each character when searched.
b)Last login to be visible after request, so You need to click [Show data] to see what was the last login of each character.
c) Change the data format (months to Roman number), for example October to X. - and here please let me know ig that could affect on x3bot work.

Apparently, this is how it works: it checks the online list and then it checks the profile of each character on the list plus the characters of the same account (if those are not hidden in the profile).
b) and c) won't really change anything. a) on the other hand will also greatly affect the players, e.g. you won't be able to check if your friend/enemy has been logging in etc.
